About the job

You have one of the key positions in our growth ambition, providing the right data analyses upon which business decisions are made. You are responsible for:

  • Further developing existing dashboards as well as creating new ones. This contains strategic reports and visualizations as well as ad hoc-reports;
  • Frequent contact with internal stakeholders and departments (e.g. sales, finance, supply chain), where you have to translate their needs into dashboards or useful reports;
  • Standardize all reports and transfer your knowledge into written processes.

Your ability and willingness to work with others is crucial for your success in this role. You take initiative, structure and organize work well and you are keen to work with others to deliver tangible results. You have an analytical approach, good communication skills and take responsibility for your work. You are accurate and able to validate your own work and the input of your stakeholders. You have the ability to get all stakeholders on board. 

Your department

This role will be part of the IT team and reports directly to the CFO of Axxor. 

You will have a strong cooperation with our ICT & Process Responsible and ERP Application Manager. The ICT & Process Responsible takes care of the back-end and the ERP Application Manager has a key role in the definition phase and is responsible for the functional requirements document (FRD). 

With this FRD, you will translate these requirements in (1) data needs and work together with the data owners (and/or key users) to make the data available in the correct way, and (2) build the required dashboard. You organize demo’s and create prototypes. 

What makes you unique

You are up to date with the latest developments in Power BI and data. The job requires excellent analytical skills and an eye for detail. 

  • Strong analytic skills, affinity with and certified in Power BI, ERP and information strategy & management 
  • Experience in DAX (Studio), MS PowerQuery and Tabular Editor 
  • Experience in stakeholder management / alignment with clients 
  • Pre to have knowledge of Azure data factory / data lake 
  • Pre to have knowledge of SQL and Python 
  • Pre to have knowledge of SCADA 
  • Pre to have experience with release management 
  • Pro-active self-starting attitude
